I say it because I have noticed some trends that hold people back from achieving their goals.

Type #2.) Feels frustrated in a lot of areas. Not unhappy, just frustrated.... and although others may be impressed with where they’re at but then FEEL like they could be doing better.

And… ( here's the BIG difference between type #1 and type #1 ). They EXPECT to be doing better

I don't want people working for me and or with me that don't have a deep internal purpose themselves. My personal team goes through this as part of their “job training.” ( that’s how crucial this content is…)

Honestly…and selfishly speaking I see this as a GIANT networking group that gives me a lot of energy personally because I LOVE sharing my unique gifts with my fellow journeyers.

Ok time to set the record straight about something...

For those of you wondering “Who the heck is Andy Morris?” Well, I'm no guru and have NO desire to be your guru, your savior or set myself up to be worshiped as an “idol.”

( We all know what I'm talking about... one of these coaches that people fawn all over as if they can raise the dead or something…)

 Heavens no! I'm a work in progress JUST like you…And so is my company - Realty Trust Services.

However I have been personally coached over the last 20 years by countless business coaches and currently listen to or read 1 to 2 non fiction books a week ( depending on how busy things get ..haha ). 

I've attended a lot of seminars. In spite of all this though I can tell you that success is always “ a work in progress.”

So here’s my story…or maybe just the “cliffsnotes version.” Whoever Cliff is...this is his version...

In 2000 at age 19 I started my business with the purchase of my first home AND I. Was. GEEKED! At the time I had finished my 3rd year of an electrical engineering degree at the University of Akron ( shout out to Zippy )

Moving on though... something was SERIOUSLY wrong…

I was so sick I didn't feel I was even hirable by an employer so I felt my ONLY option was to work for myself. And to make things harder… I had some super confusing chronic illness that the doctors didn't seem to understand ( yeah that was REAL comforting lol…) 

Anyway, this super confusing-hard-to-pronounce-long named illness left me feeling COMPLETELY exhausted. Ever. Single. Day. It got so bad that even trying to get out of bed was a struggle.

Even with all of this going on though…

I still was able to flip some houses and make some pretty decent money for a young guy helping buy, renovate, and flip over 35 houses. And this was in spite of my personal issues...

But then the 2008 came...

The market collapsed and things went bad on every level. ( Does anyone else remember that time?? Because I’m still trying to forget it…)

I tried to do good things like adopt kids, be a good spouse, and attend church. But in reality sometimes even doing your best in life gets you down. In that same timespan, I had a foreclosure, a repossession, numerous credit card defaults and to be fully transparent that was rough….I mean talk about taking the wind out of your sales!

But I learned something HUGE in that time...

The difficulties are less important than how you respond. That’s what defines you. Those HARD times can lead to some of the GREATEST learning and joy in your life. More than that though…

They can help you see a way to heal from the traumas of both childhood and adulthood ( added bonus huh? ). And sometimes they present you with gems that you couldn’t have gotten any other way...

For instance I remember crying on my wife's shoulder about business reversals ( and I don’t mean metaphorically here either…I mean crying ). At that moment…my wife told me something I’ll never forget… She said "Andy, It's ok. I don't care if we lose the house and lose everything we have. You will have me and the kids and we will rebuild together." 

Talk about an incredible partner huh? 

Sometimes you learn you have wealth and prosperity that can't be taken from you no matter what happens. 

And I can tell you, as I am doing well in the areas that most people would consider “wealth or abundance”

That moment….that’s one of the things in my life that I treasure. GREATLY!

Prosperity truly does start INSIDE of you. You may desire to have stuff. But if you don't have inner prosperity you will never get what you are really looking for…

Because you’ll never get the peace and joy inside even if you get the stuff

outside you. The stuff is just a proxy ( a substitute ) for the inner prosperity you might not have even realized you needed. 

When you get deep, true prosperity inside first you will be able to actually enjoy and appreciate the external trappings of success that come your way. And they will come in time…

Our company Realty Trust Services has the tagline "Growing PROsperity." I realized that real estate could be a vehicle to allow us to serve people in every walk of life. 

Here’s what I mean…

Good rental homes are provided to people so they have a stable environment to live in and grow and grow their families. And as a brokerage we sell people homes so that they can have a place to live and

actually make all their own choices.

Also they can use it as an investment to grow their financial prosperity. If they want to sell or upgrade as they progress we can help them with that too. 

OR, if they increase their reserves and increase their income, homeowners can buy more properties and rent them out to other people who will not only live in them and grow but also pay for that and pay for the property.

Which can provide an amazing retirement plan supporting people through their “golden years.”

But ultimately I realized that real estate was only a tool for the initiated. It's only a tool for those who have any sense of hope… a belief that they can and will grow and achieve their goals and dreams.

The bottom line is this - people have to have some sense of purpose in their life that makes achieving something in life meaningful. And the GrowingPRO.club is intended to be a platform to inspire people and hold them accountable to think, DO, and BE MORE!

That may look like renting, buying, selling, buying more, or having us manage their homes…

And if we are really blessed, have them join our team someday.

To truly grow your PROsperity you need to be a PROfessional human being and that’s what I want most for you.
